STREET, an exciting new form of urban publication, is calling for
submissions to issue #6. STREET lifts the prose and poetry of our
community from the printed page and puts it on the streets of the
International Village, in central Hamilton. From Wellington to Mary,
on King and Main Streets East and King William Street, the "pages" of
STREET is framed and displayed in the windows of area businesses.
Sponsored by the International Village BIA and Kairos Literary
Society, STREET is a periodical reflecting urban experience, with 4
issues planned for 2007. More information about STREET and how to

Submission Guidelines
Poetry should be a maximum of 30 lines, including line breaks. Prose
submissions should be a maximum of 400 words. Previously published
works will be accepted. STREET is looking for writing that reflects
the varied and vibrant lifestyle of the urban community. All
submissions must be suitable for posting in a public place.
Contributors whose works are accepted will be paid a $20.00 honorarium.
Selected submissions will also be published in a limited-edition
booklet available to contributors and through the International
Village BIA office.
