Word Whips - hosted by Pandora's Collective

Take the challenge. Put your words on the table. We provide the writing prompts and the mike for sharing. Ten minutes to write to each prompt to see what you can whip up. (7:00pm)

Story Slam - hosted by Johnny Frem
Actors, Writers, Story-tellers: Pass the hat. Give us your best Seven (7) minute story: poignant moods, colorful characters, sharp twists, quirks, humour and surprise endings. Audience judges performance. Winner takes the hat. (9:00pm)

Twisted Poets - hosted by Pandora's Collective
In the spirit of Vancouver all poets are welcome. Come out, bring your best, favourite, newest, oldest poems, and share in an evening of literary surprises. (7:00pm)
Liars of Orpheus - a literary jam session, hosted by Johnny Frem
Musicians are encouraged to bring extra instruments; artists to bring chalk, pastel, or crayons--black canvas supplied; actors bring improv. ideas; writers bring works-in-progress; dancers wear loose clothing. (9:00pm)
