For a growing community of artists, the "LIARS OF
ORPHEUS" literary jam session is the highlight of
every month. It is continuosly evolving with
intensity, diversity and creative juice. Artists of
all types are invited to participate in whatever way
they feel inspired, be that with poetry, music, visual
art, theatre, dance or something we haven't witnessed
yet. It might already be a polished piece or it might
be something born on the spot.
Be ready to improvise and be ready to see it go where
it's never been before. Musicians are encouraged to
bring extra instruments for others to play; artists to
bring chalk, pastel, or crayons--black canvas
supplied; actors bring improv. ideas; writers bring
works-in-progress; dancers wear loose clothing. This
is an audience participation event.
