Contest for Ottawa writers

Ottawa - The City of Ottawa's annual 55 + Short Story Contest invites
submissions of original, unpublished short stories or memoirs, 2000 words
or less, by Ottawa residents 55 years or older.

Four hundred dollars ($400) in prize money is available to be won. Winners
will be recognized at the Ottawa Literary Awards ceremony, and one of the
winning stories will be selected for publication in the May issue of
Forever Young.

An entry fee of $5 per story is applicable. Deadline for submissions is
March 12, 2004.
