Andy Weaver was born in Saint John, NB, but has lived all over the country. He has an MA in English & Creative Writing from UNB, & is currently maddingly pursuing his PhD at the University of Alberta. He has served on the poetry editorial boards of The Fiddlehead, & was a founding editor of QWERTY, & is now co-editor of The Olive, a monthly zine & reading series in Edmonton. His poems have appeared in various magazines & anthologies, including evergreen: six new poets (Black Moss), & he is the author of two previous poetry chapbooks -- Three Ghazals to the Constellation Corvus (The Crow) (above/ground press) & not knowing spanish: love poems (and one retraction) (Greenboathouse Books).
