small pressings» Xerography Journal Call for Submissions

Deadline: Feb. 1, 2004

Xerography, a little Canadian literary journal, seeks submissions for its Spring 2004 issue. We like all types of poetry--be it experimental, lyrical, visual; we also seek short fiction, essays, articles, reviews and visual art (B&W pieces that can be xerographied, as our name suggests). Pieces that blur the imaginary & the real, and well-crafted works of cheekiness will find a home in our pages.

Xerography is usually an elegant hand-stitched 5 1/2" x 8" size booklet, though we have been known to play with form. Our most recent issue is a triple edition of 3 booklets with coloured flyleaves, gathered in Italian Fabriano outer covers.

Writers that have appeared in Xerography include: rob mclennan, Alison Calder, Lisa Robertson, Michael Basinski, Meredith Quartermain, Warren Cariou, Dorothy Field, and ross priddle. We welcome new and established writers. We encourage electronic submissions (sent in the body of an email or as a Word attachment) to xerographyis@hotmail.com. Paper submissions may be sent (along with a SASE) to:
