Ten Dollar Words Publishing is now accepting submissions for a collection of short fiction that will explore both the oral and written aspects of a good story. Accepted stories will unify literary excellence with the old-fashioned ability to “spin a yarn”.
Successful tales may address any theme but will share an emphasis on the storytelling tradition. Authors may submit two stories of 1000 to 4000 words each. Submissions will include a fifty word bio and a cover letter with the author’s address, phone number and e-mail address included. Self-addressed stamped envelopes are also required for replies regarding manuscripts. Submissions accepted for consideration will be typed in a standard 12 point font and will include two hard copies of each piece. Please allow up to three months for replies. Submission deadline is December 1, 2003.
