Sponges

Sponges look a bit like plants but they are really animals. They come in many colours. Sometimes sponges look like splashes of pink or orange paint. Sponges have many pores covering its body. The pores are tiny holes that help sponges filter food out of the water that flows through. Sponges stay attached to rocks and shells.
